Shital Mahajan is one of India’s most celebrated adventure sports icons, known worldwide for her extraordinary achievements in skydiving and aero sports.

With over 20 years of pioneering exploration, 8 World and 21 National records, and several “firsts” to her name, she has raised India’s flag across all seven continents, including extreme jumps over the North Pole, South Pole, Mount Everest Region, and some of the world’s most challenging skydiving terrains.

She made history by performing her first-ever parachute jump without any prior training over the Geographical North Pole in  minus 37°C, from 2,400 ft, and later achieved the first accelerated free fall jump without trials at the Antarctica, South Pole in minus 38°C from 11,600 ft, making her the youngest woman to skydive over both poles without any prior trials.

She is the first Indian civilian woman skydiving coach, the first Indian woman to receive the FAI Sabiha Gökçen Medal, and the only Indian woman to skydive across all 7 continents, a true ambassador of India in global aero sports. Her extraordinary courage earned her India’s fourth-highest civilian honour, the Padma Shri, at the age of 28.
